About Maria's Cleaning Services

Maria's Cleaning Services was founded in 2002 in Richmond, Virginia by Maria Gonzalez. She started the business in 2002 when her husband passed away suddenly, leaving her with four young children to raise on her own.

Maria had always taken great pride in keeping her own home spotless, so it seemed like a natural fit for her to begin helping others maintain their home. She knew many families had busy work schedules and hectic lives. If she took on their cleaning, they'd have more time to spend with their family doing things that they really enjoy.

Maria's first client lived in a small apartment. After that client moved to a house, she continued to rely on Maria for cleaning. Through that client's referrals, it wasn't long before other homeowners began hiring Maria to clean their homes, many of whom have continued using her services for more than 15 years!

Today, Maria's Cleaning Services has blossomed into a family-owned business in which Maria, her son, daughter-in-law and their well-trained, seasoned staff offer all types of cleaning services including:
